Spontaneous Amounts of New and Redesigned Cars

Lately, new cars are coming out spontaneously. The refresh cycle in cars is kicking in once again (cars usually get refreshed about every 4-5 years). With the refresh of cars, not only does design get more sophisticated, but cars are becoming more eco-friendly and are introducing many technologies and innovations. Here is a list of new cars I can think of right now (including redesigns).

I have not been on my blog for a while. In the meantime November 24, the release date of the much anticipated Gran Turismo 5, has passed. Remember when Lewis Hamilton was the new youngest driver to receive the Formula 1 World Championship title? Well, in 2010, Sebastian Vettel took that title. Speaking of both Gran Turismo and Sebastian Vettel, in 2010 the Red Bull X1 (now known as X2010) was revealed in Gran Turismo 5. Polyphony Digital started off the basic design and the Red Bull F1 team's aerodynamics chief engineer helped finish the rest of the design. Above is a video teaser for the Red Bull X2010.

Ferrari back to it's former glory after bad 2009 season?

Today, March 14, 2010, both of Ferrari's drivers, Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa, took first and second in the first Formula 1 Grand Prix this season. This gives the team a large boost in points of 43 points with McLauren second with 21 points! Sebastian Vettel, one of the drivers from the Red Bull team, started first thanks to his fastest qualifying time. However, on lap 34, Sebastian Vettel had exhaust problems when Fernando Alonso overtook him and remained in that position. Felipe Massa over took Sebastian Vettel on the first corner of lap 35 as well. Lewis Hamilton of the McLauren team overtook Sebastian Vettel as well making Sebastian finishing 3rd.

Gran Turismo PSP

Gran Turismo PSP has been announced at E3 2004. The game has been quite late but at least Polyphony Digital took their time for quality. The CEO of PD (polyphony Digital) said he denies announcing Gran Turismo PSP then for it was way too early. The release date is October 1st in the U.S. and Europe, and October 3rd in Japan. It is availible for pre-order at your local game store.

Ward's 10 Best Engine Awards Announced

The annual Ward's best 10 engines have been announced. Surprisingly, the Nissan VQ V-6 series didn't get the award this year which hasn't been off the list since 1995. The awarded engines are the Audi A4 Avant: 2.0L TFSI turbocharged DOHC I4

A Possible Release Date for Gran Turismo 5 Final

You know that there is Gran Turismo HD, then there is Gran Turismo 5 Prologue as a replacement since there are so many fans are waiting for the next GT. Well the cheif executive in south Europe of Playstation has announced that Gran Turismo 5 final release date is estimated to be around Christmas of 2009. GT fans hope that this is the date.
